Iodine helps thyroid function nutritionally, it is not a cure for clinical hypothyroidism which require replacement thyroid hormones. You should see your doctor if you are hypothyroid, it can worsen and cause other conditions including goiter, high cholesterol, fatigue and fibromyalgia symptoms.
