I believe that they are a help and a menace to society. For one, many people can use bridges to commit suicide or people can be thrown off of a bridge which can be technically called a homicide/murder. People use them for good too. such as to get from place to place or to help another person get from place to place. People can also use them to transport goods and services from place to place by walking instead of using a plane or a car or a train to pollute the air.
