When I was eighteen, I thought it should be lowered. Now I believe it should be raised to twenty-five!
i think that it should be lowered because i mean ima guida c'mon
They do not object to a lower drinking age, but neither do they support lowering the MLDA.
They are not lowering the drinking age to 18. The minimum purchase and drinking age is a state law. Each individual U.S. state establishes by law the minimum age at which an individual may purchase alcoholic beverages. The U.S. Government passed the National Minimum Drinking Age Act on July 17, 1984. This did not change the drinking age. However, it forced the individual states to establish the minimum drinking age as 21 or lose 10% of their federal highway funding. The minimum drinking age is 21 in all 50 U.S. states.
Lowering the drinking age would mean more people paying for alcohol. Because all alcohol is taxed, more people paying for it means more taxation revenue.
By lowering the drinking age to 18 and pretending like alcohol is a horrible thing and should not be touched.
Probrably not in my opinion, But the Government in not so many words are considering making the drinking age 21 because most people go out a lot when there 18 to get drunk. Personaly i think it would make no differance what so ever to lower or rank the drinking age, because at 21 people could still go out to get drunk and cause problems.
Yes, because it increases the available customer base.

The legal drinking age should be maintained at its current level to promote public safety and reduce alcohol-related harm, particularly among young people. Lowering the drinking age may lead to increased alcohol consumption and related issues, while raising it may not be feasible or effective in addressing the root causes of underage drinking.
i don't think no kids should be drinking until there 18
Well, that is not lowering the age, it is increasing the age.
Whatever the minimum drinking age should be does not matter as much as what the law states that it is. In the United States, the minimum drinking age is 21. Many think it should be age 18, when a person can go off to war.
