I am not sure which area you are referring to. In other words is it within the business area, health related, etc. That being said, the concept of social responsibility does lead to social value, which can in-part evolve from maintaining a high level of standards. It relates to ethical practices which are standards of conduct on how one behaves based on a sense of moral duties, virtues, which itself is derived from principles of what is right, good, and proper. In concept, it is as simple as just doing the right thing, at the right time, for the right reasons. In reality it is very difficult for many to actually do, and that based on a variety of issues to include personal beliefs, attitudes, and ethics one has developed trough life. Still, by formulating high standards (must be documented), you increase accountability and responsibility, which in my opinion can lead to social value.
