sugar melts ice the fastest. i did a science experiment and my question was does salt sugar or pepper melt ice faster and my answer was sugar try it
Just think about it. If you leave a tin of water and a tin of sugar outside on a hot day, which one will disappear faster- the water or the sugar?
i think its m and ms since it has chocolate in it- and chocolate melts at room temperature.
I am not so sure but, I think this can help: It has a bigger surface area and the water freezes faster. It cools down the drink faster and melts to drinkable water faster That's all I know, , Unknown girl
Almost impossible, pepper doesn't dissolve as quickly as sugar though. Although you'll be without sugar. You could try shaking it but I doubt that will work. Best just to use it as it is for times you need both. They are both cheap, just chunk it.
Butter melts faster than ice because fats in the butter require less energy to move up a degree when compared to ice
salt does, because thats what i feel like putting down right now
You need to determine what you think will melt the fastest, and that will be your hypothesis. If you think that pepper will melt it faster, you would say "My hypothesis is that the pepper will melt ice faster than the other variables (sand, salt, and sugar)."
