What do you use as a base on your eyes before wearing eyeshadow?

I usually use my foundation, it helps the eyeshadow grip onto your eyelid making it last longer. You can also use a face primer which is meant to go under make-up. To make your eyeshadow hold longer I recommend closing your eyes covering your forehead and spraying your eyes LIGHTLY lol with hairspray. It works like a dream and is extremely practical.

Some great products to use are: ' Urban Decay Primer Potion', "Too Faced Shadow Insurance', 'M.A.C paint pots (come in varies colors). Although these products can be a bit pricey they are well worth it. If you are on a budget, a simple eyeliner may work as a base. A popular one would be 'NYX Jumbo Eye Pencils'. They are mostly found in your local drug store and can be purchased in various colors.
