I usually use my foundation, it helps the eyeshadow grip onto your eyelid making it last longer. You can also use a face primer which is meant to go under make-up. To make your eyeshadow hold longer I recommend closing your eyes covering your forehead and spraying your eyes LIGHTLY lol with hairspray. It works like a dream and is extremely practical.
Eyeshadow base or, the common term is Primer, is a transluscent or lightly tinted liquid formula that you apply to your eyelid before you apply your eyeshadow to get the full colour of your shadow.
An eyeshadow base is a product that is first applied to your eyelid. It's purpose is to help your eyeshadow last longer and/or make the shade of your eyeshadow more vibrant.
Some great products to use are: ' Urban Decay Primer Potion', "Too Faced Shadow Insurance', 'M.A.C paint pots (come in varies colors). Although these products can be a bit pricey they are well worth it. If you are on a budget, a simple eyeliner may work as a base. A popular one would be 'NYX Jumbo Eye Pencils'. They are mostly found in your local drug store and can be purchased in various colors.
yes wearing just mascara and no colorful eyeliners or eyeshadow gives the eyes a natural look
Well, you put eyeshadow on your eyes (I hope), and as far as I've seen, no one gets acne on their eyes. Just make sure to apply a base and wash it off completely.
Eyeshadow base. Just be careful not to let it get into your eyes. Try to apply it with a small sponge or q-tip.
Cream eyeshadow is an eyeshadow that is in a cream form. It is nice base for powder eyeshadow or it can wear alone by itself if that cream eyeshadow doesn't crease or fade. You can use your finger or flat synthetic brush to apply it. I recommend MAC paint pot and Maybelline 24 hour tattoo cream eyeshadow.
Smoky eyeshadow is an excellent way to exaggerate eyes.
Blue eyes tend to look best with silver glitter eyeshadow. Try Too Faced Lock Down Ultimate Creaseless Cream Eyeshadow ($19 each) and when you put it on you have to keep your eyes closed for like a minute so it doesn't create creases.
Yeh it is. A eyeshadow base is just a colour that will look fine on anyOnes skin tone because you are applying shadow Over it. However it you randomly just want to wear it on it's own the you would have to find a colour that would look nice against your eyes!!
Eyeshadow is not based on the color of clothing but the color of your eyes. The purpose of it is to enhance the eyes and make them look larger. Several products are sold in cosmetic counters that are based on the color of your eyes, so get that.
blue green and pink
In my opinion, blue eyed girl's or women with blue eyes would look great with some dark tan face powder, dark lipstick, and some brown eyeshadow. My mom has blue eyes and that is what kind of makeup she wears every single day. Except for the eyeshadow. Instead of eyeshadow she wears mascara.
First you have to get black liquid eyeliner. Line your top eyes with the liquid and wing out. Line the bottom of your eye with black eye liner in pencil. A peachy eyeshadow color is used on the lid before putting on the liquid eyeliner. Add a dab of white eyeshadow on the inner corners of your eyes and there you go.
brown or green will work well I have hazel eyes and have been wearing makeup for two years, so I think I can help you. I recommend light green, light brown, or glitter. Also, the best eyeshadow application is this: put your lightest (example) pink from the top of the eyelid to your eyebrow and your regular (example) pink over the eyelid. Use your darkest (example) pink in the corners. Also: don't use an eyeshadow that matches your blush; it sounds cool but it is NOT. You should also try a subtle purple.
