You get a saucepan and place a slice of lard on it. Put it on top of a gas top and let the lard melt. When it has melted, crack open the egg and try and get it all in one spot instead of all over the saucepan (this normally doesn't happen for me!). Then get a spatular and push gently round the sides of the egg as it fries. Then when the yoke has all gone orange/yellow and all the liquid has turned white, you use the spatular to take it off the saucepan and then it is ready to eat!

An egg (preferably free range from a happy chicken) Heat your pan over a gentle heat, then add your oil or fat and allow a few seconds for this to melt and heat through, next crack your egg straight into the pan, (if your new to cooking, break your egg into a cup or small dish before you start) ..... allow the egg to gently cook (fry) in the hot oil or fat, what you do next depends on where you live, in the UK we like to splash a little of the hot oil over the egg to help cook the top of the yolk, in America they flip them over. Whatever your preferance serve the egg with the white just cooked and the yolk runny. enjoy mmmm.
