Hi, I'm currently finishing my a-levels and have been offered a conditional place on a primary teaching course. You don't have to have specific subjects to become a primary school teacher but if you hope to specialise in a certain field in secondary education e.g. you want to become a maths teacher you would have to have maths at a-level. If you want to be a primary school teacher I would recommend you do health and social care, and at least one subject from the primary education national curriculum.
You should begin preparing for university. To become a secondary school teacher you will have to earn a B.A or B.Sc (bachelor of arts or, bachelor of sciences) and then attend a teacher's college, or your universities faculty of education to get your B.Ed (bachelor of education). These prescribed degree programs will prepare you and train you to be a teacher. While you're still in high school, continue to be studious, get good grades, and have a good attitude about education. Your university training will prepare you for your actual teaching career.

The chances of being a teacher depends on your childhood, middle school and high school grades. If you get good grades, and if you want to be a teacher, there's a good chance you will become a teacher. If you get bad grades, you will be working as a garbage man, so do good in school.
To become a Primary School Teacher you would need to do Maths, Science AND English and also score a c or above. At the A-Level stage, what you need to do all depends on what you wan to teach. Usually it is best to go for a creative subject such as Art or Music, History and English is also highly respected.
If you want to learn about jobs at Ohio health and science university, there is no better way then to actually go to the school. I suggest setting up a meeting with the dean if you are a teacher or just go to the administration office if you want find out about a job.
It depends on the college or university and their preferred approach to the field.
Every school and university teaches something obviously...but it depends on what you want to learn. In the United States, as in most countries, universities have different specialties. So, if you want to be a scientist, there's a university for that. If you want to be a teacher, or a doctor, or a lawyer... there are universities that offer those courses. There are also vocational schools, which teach you a skill like plumbing or carpentry or automobile repair. These schools offer certificates, although sometimes, they partner with a university to offer an Associate's degree.
