Psychiatrists have generally had some medical-type training and can prescribe medication where psychologists are experts in counseling or fixing behaviors. Social workers also (to some degree) can help people with mental illnesses. A neuroscientists may look at the brain component of mental health.
Informally, many other professions (such as ministers or priests) may also try to help solve mental problems.
