The killer whale (or Orca) is a carnivorous whale that hunts in packs or groups. If there are enough of these whales, they can sometimes take down a fully grown humpback whale, although they usually go for the babies... if they get the chance.

∙ 10y agoThre is more than one whale, and diet depends on which whale. Orcas may eat fish, sea birds, seals, etc. The baleen whale eats krill- very tiny organisms that are filtered out of water by a mouth like a screen door. All get the water they need from the food they eat, so they do not drink.
