This is from the book of Daniel in The Bible when a hand appeared and wrote on the wall of king Belshazzar as he in a drunken party praised the gods of gold, silver, brass and wood.
Daniel was brought and translated the writing of as "MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN."
This is the interpretation of the thing: MENE; God hath numbered thy kingdom, and finished it. TEKEL; Thou art weighed in the balances, and art found wanting. PERES; Thy kingdom is divided, and given to the Medes and Persians.
So it means basically, "Judgment is at near."
It's because they've become so good at drawing, writing has become somewhat useless to them, so they haven't really got the time to practice their handwriting.
