β 5y agoIn French - not much. "Guten Tag" is German for "good day" or "hello". "Guten Tag" in French would be "Bon jour".
Guten Tag = Good Day "Max" is probably a name, so "Good day Max." Max COULD be short for "Maximum", which is the same in German as in English. But that wouldn't make sense in the circumstances.
You can say 'Guten Tag' as well. Or just 'Tag' or 'Hallo'.
