Check the fuse.
there should be 4 bolts that hold the seat to the floor. just remove them and if it has power seat dont forget to unplug them.

In my car (2001) there are three fuses for the power seat. One is in the trunk on the drivers side, behind a cover by the rear wheel. It's a 30 Amp fuse and theres one for the passenger seat also. The remaining two are behind the cover panel by the steering wheel, you access it with the drivers door opened. there are two 30 amp fuses for the drivers seat and two for the passenger seat.
