while most know things like v6, straight 6, v8, ect there's more with cars then just how many cylinders and how there aligned liter is a metric unit of liquid measurement and the bigger engines are 6L lets take a look at a few Chevy cars you have the cruze which only comes with a 1.4L, your cobalt which comes in a 2.0L and 2.2L, the Malibu which comes in a 3.6L, the impala which comes in a 3.5L and 3.9 L, then finally the camaro which was the one from Transformers and your corvette which both have 6.2L engines but the vette is more aerodynamic now where this comes into play is the more L you have the more power is under your hood so if you like to race the more L under your hood is a good thing but as one would expect the more sporty of a car the less fuel efficient it is so feel free to get the fastest car you can find but expect to have to pay a lil more at the pump that's why most cars don't have 6L engines specially with gas prices still seeming to go up little by little
The Ford 2.3 liter is a 4 cylinder engine
the engine size
GM's 4.3 liter is a V6 engine ( 6 engine cylinders )
That is the capacity of the cylinders in that engine.
G.M. 's 4.3 liter is a V6 engine - so ( 6 )
its a 6 with a 2.5 liter engine.
I am assuming that you mean what does it equal in cubic inches? Multiply liters by 61 to get approximate cubic inches. Thus a 2.8 liter engine is 2.8x61= 170 ci (allow for some variation, but you can get close. SO a 6 liter engine is 6*62 or about 370 cubic inches, give or take.
It should be the 6.8 liter engine and the capacity is 6 quarts
( 6 , 8 , or 10 engine cylinders ) depending on which engine it has : The 4.2 liter V6 engine has ( 6 engine cylinders ) The 4.6 and 5.4 liter V8 engines have ( 8 engine cylinders ) The 6.8 liter V 10 engine has ( 10 engine cylinders )
If it has the 4.0 liter V6 engine there are ( 6 engine cylinders ) If it has the 5.0 liter V8 engine there are ( 8 engine cylinders )
You could have the 2.3 liter 4 cylinder engine , which has ( 4 ) or the 3.0 liter or 4.0 liter V6 engine which has ( 6 )
6 cylinder.
