The best gear oil for a Case Vac tractor is Engen Gearlube EP 85w140.
one gallon of 85w140 equals 7.53 lb/gallon 120/7.53=15.936 gallons
85W140 Gear oil on a manual transmission.
The Isuzu NPR uses 85W140 gear oil in the differential and you can use chevron starplex 2 grease when greasing the chassis.
It means that more gear oil is put into the gear box in order to have it at the right level.
No
I mean, is the gear oil synthertic or not?
Ask the question differently! Are you talking about Engine oil or do you really mean Gear oil such as in the rear axle?
Gear oil is actually an oil as used in transmissions and differentials. grease is thick sticky stuff (possibly like the one that reckons oil is grease) that wouldn't be much good in a gearbox as it would be unable to lubricate all the parts
Yes, you can use 75w-90 gear oil instead of SAE 90 gear oil
Gear oil is normally a much heavier oil.
