Roman Catholic AnswerCatholicism does not address Kabbalah as such. Catholicism is the fulfillment of the Jewish religion, as the Messiah arrived, fulfilled the Scriptures and ushered in the end time. Kabbalah is Jewish mysticism and has developed mostly in the last millennium. I guess that what Catholicism would have to say about it would be Catholic Mysticism which is explained fully by St. Teresa of Avila, and her protege, St. John of the Cross in their writings. These two reformed the Carmelite order and are the founders of today's Discalced Carmelites. They continue, to this day to teach the spirituality which is Catholic Mysticism. Both of them have several writings which address this issue much more fully, a good place to start would be St. Teresa's Way of Perfection, and then St. John's Ascent of Mt. Carmel. St. Teresa is easier to understand, she is much more "chatty" and personable. St. John is very direct, and rather more difficult to understand.
