Other than the MIL light illuminating you may not notice any performance issues.
cause
A short in the O2 sensor heater circuit or the sensor itself
A faulty O2 sensor heater
Wiring or connectors are broken or frayed to the sensor or relay
Bad PCM or ECM
The fix
Correct wiring short or loose connector found in inspection.
and/or
Replace the bank 1 sensor 1 O2 sensor
Trouble code P0720 means:Output speed sensor circuit malfunction
Trouble code P0443 means:Evaporative emission control systempurge control valve circuit malfunction
Trouble code P0499 means: Evaporative Emission System Vent Control Circuit High
Trouble code P0031 means: HO2S Heater Control Circuit Low (Bank 1, Sensor 1) Trouble code P0136 means: O2 Circuit (Bank 1, Sensor 2)
P0203, injector number three circuit malfunction.
Trouble code P0404 means:Exhaust gas recirculation circuit range/performance
Trouble code P0340 means:Camshaft position sensor circuit malfunction
Trouble code P1495 means: Leak detection pump solenoid circuit
Trouble code P0161 means:O2 sensor heater circuit malfunction (Bank 2 Sensor 2)
Trouble code PO121 means:Throttle position circuit out of range or performance problem
Trouble code P0340 means:Camshaft position sensor circuit malfunction
Trouble code P0546 means:Exhaust gas temperature sensor circuit high (bank 1)
