She wants Dorothy to figure out answers on her own.
The cowardly lion wanted courage, the scarecrow wanted a brain, and the tin woodsman wanted a heart.
That evil loses to good, that goals can be set and realized and that home is where the heart is are the major assumptions in the movie "The Wizard of Oz."Specifically, evil is epitomized by the Wicked Witch of the West, whose miserable fate is foreshadowed by Dorothy Gale's albeit inadvertent killing of the Wicked Witch of the East. Dorothy gets it in her mind that she will get home and that she will see to it that her three new friends realize their dreams too. She finds out that if you can get what you want if you try hard enough. She accepts as her ruling assumption that people are what counts in life and that home is where the heart is and vice versa.
Gale is the last name that Dorothy has in both the original 1900 book edition and the beloved 1939 film version of "The Wizard of Oz."Specifically, Dorothy is presented as an orphan girl being raised by her Uncle Henry and Aunt Em. Dorothy's adoptive or foster parents are given no last name. There also is no explanation as to whether the elderly couple really is related to Dorothy and if so, in what way and on which side of the family. But later on in the Royal Histories of Oz series, author and series originator Lyman Frank Baum (May 15, 1856 - May 6, 1919) has Uncle Henry speak of the strong resemblance between Dorothy and her mother. This may favor an interpretation of Uncle Henry as being the brother of Dorothy's mother.
Dorthy is unable to return home to Kansas with Wizard because just as their balloon is about to take off, Toto jumps out of the basket, Dorothy is doesn't want to leave without her beloved pet so races out after Toto. By the time both girl and dog are able to get back into the balloon, it's already too far away.
to get back home, a heart, a brain and courage hope this helps
So You Want to Be a Wizard was created in 1983.
In the "Wicked Years" series of novels by Gregory Maguire there wasn't any actual reason given as to why The Wizard seized power of Oz. He did come to Oz in search of the Grimmerie which was brought to Oz and hidden by another wizard. My opinion is that he seized power in order to aid his search for the Grimmerie.
i want to be a wizard with powers but i do not know how to become one do u know?
So You Want to Be a Wizard has 400 pages.
You don't.
If you want to know the 'real' story, read the book. The movie has very little in common with it besides the characters.
