If you mean halve of 34 then it is 17
Please be more specific about the "Knot" and post new question.
The design is an adaptation of the Presidential Seal, and was used for the reverse design in honor of Kennedy's service as president.
It's not a mint mark. The initials FG stand for Frank Gasparro, who designed the reverse of the coin. Gilroy Roberts designed the obverse. The only mintmark a 1964 Kennedy half can have is a "D." It's to the left of the olive branch in the eagles claw.
When you double one thing you halve the other thing.
Your meaning of "reversed" isn't clear. If you mean the eagle is rotated 180 degrees so it is upside down from the face of the coin, it is supposed to be that way. If you mean something else, please submit another question using more detail about the coin.
Remember that the eagle is considered to be one of the national symbols of the US.The design on the back of the coin is an adaptation of the Presidential Seal.
To split can mean divides in two. To halve also means to divide in two.

The Irish form of the name is Ó Cinnéide, which may mean "helmeted". There is a separate family of Kennedy in Scotland.
Bisected mean to halve an angle. For instance, a right-angle (90- degrees) is changed to two 45 degree angles when bisected.
I'm certain you mean 1964, not 1946. In 1946 JFK was only 29 years old and was running for office for the first time. Please see the Related Question.
