The first one was in 1971 and it was a strip down down FLH With a sportster frontend and what they called a boattail seat and rear fender. kick start only.. the Fx.
Stands for It was no longer and FLH.. So it was a stripdown FLH , I bought one as Soon they came out , own it for 36 years. Right After I bouught it. My wife and I took a trip to Golden Coloroder and it never miss beat. I still have a boat tail for one.
