Hgb = hemoglobin
which is a protein in red blood cells that carries oxygen. blood tests are able to detect how much of this you have in your blood.
I don't know about the AC part, but I'm a type 1 diabetic and I get my Hgb A1c checked every 3 months. And that's a blood test to see how much sugar you have in your blood, pretty much.
Hgb AC stands for hemoglobin A1C, which is a blood test that shows the average level of blood sugar over the past 2-3 months. It is commonly used to monitor and diagnose Diabetes.
Is mean corpuscular hgb level 28.2 ok?
Hgb means hemoglobin
normal HBA1C would be around 7% (0.07)

Hemoglobin is the name of a protein that is found in red blood cells, which has the capacity to absorb and release oxygen.
The most likely reason is the hemoglobin is being manufactured at higher than usual levels in order to compensate for smoking cigarettes. Carbon monoxide in cigarette smoke binds the Hgb molecule, displacing oxygen. This requires more Hgb to be made, in order to carry needed oxygen to the cells of the body. Other conditions are possible, however, including hemochromatosis, and others.
Hemoglobin is on RBCs, not WBCs. Hemoglobin picks up CO2 from cells and takes it to the lungs, where it releases CO2 and picks up O2. Anemia can reduce available Hgb in the bloodstream. So can any illness, condition, or disease which affects RBC production.
