probably means the luxury model
lx
lx in the thunderbirds means Luxury edition.
Not all do. Particularly NOT the Honda Accord DX, and LX and the Value Package VP cars, VP is a options added DX. As of late 1990's and early 2000's, most of these cars did not. Lack of ABS was desireable for many Honda buyers for cost and simplicity. The last Accord I bought new without ABS was a 2001 LX
lx stands for luxury edition...most cars with this have the most options available for it.. As far as honda is concerned, ex is the top model which means executive, X may refer to the trim, (actual trimmming), lx stands for the second top level , that means limited executive.(good guess?).... Dx is the lowest that means deluxe trim.
the LX on the Taurus stands for luxury
It is: LX = 50+10 = 60
GLX means grand luxury and LX is just Luxury
LUXURY EDITION has all the extras on it
They're used to designate specific trim packages on cars. In some cases, it may also denote other options.
