Silver represents justice and purity. It is symbolic of some protective energy.

The link below shows the symbol. I tried to paste the symbol itself but it would not let me. The character is a combination of two smaller ones: "I" or "me" and "lamb". The word "lamb" is the top portion of the symbol. Notice "lamb" is positioned over the pronoun. Righteousness = The lamb over me, or, God over me.
