to free the slaves for ever
Lincoln was president when the Civil War started and towards the end before he was assassinated, but it's not entirely accurate to say that Lincoln "started" the war. It was caused fundamentally by civil unrest between the north and south of the U.S. The secessionists fired the first shots, at Fort Sumter.
You debate whether it is the cause or not. if you say it is, then you have to say what isn't planned properly, and how to improve it. if you are against, then you have to say why and provide an alternative cause.
They invaded Ireland, suppressed the people, brought people in from Britain and took the land from the Irish people and gave it to them etc. It would be wrong to say that there is continuing unrest in Ireland. This is a common misconception. There are very few problems now and Ireland an Britain have good relations.
Also Lincoln.
traffic accidents are the main cause of spinal problems so i'd have to say yeah its very possible
What did booth say when he killed President Lincoln?
There is no main cause of the Civil War. Southerners would tell you that it was "'Cause them dang Yankees won't let us live the way we live," while Abolitionist would say that it wat to free the slaves. Carolinians would say that it was because of "States' Rights." People would say that it was caused by the south seceeding, or other people would try to explain why the south seceeded. People study this stuff in colege, get a PhD in it, and still can't explain the main reason, but I have given you a few exmples.
There is no main cause of shin splints. Some say that it is caused by improper shoes or constant heel strikes. It is recommended that the shoes are broken in before a marathon is attempted.
Lincoln wasn't gay!.. you just don't like him so you choose to say otherwise.
Abraham Lincoln was debating Stephen Douglas who was a great orator and known for his ability to compromise. Lincoln was trying to say that sometimes you can't compromise. His words were, "A house divided against itself can not stand." The public wasn't ready to listen to Lincoln and Douglas won the debates.
Some say Lincoln helped but historians believe Lincoln did not sneak slaves on to the Underground Railroad.
