I never heard of this put quite possibly John Hancock- who had the most prominent signature. Maybe he was legally Blind- or nearsighted. I never thought of this, put if people do have an uncorrected impairment, they would tend to write larger letters.
Ye actually their national day is the same day as his birthday, which is to his honor.
