Its orriganally arabic but adopted by Spanish after 800 years of Arab rule in Spain, not sure on what it means though.

Olay is Turkish and means event. There is no translation found in Spanish. There is the Spanish word ole which means no. There is also ole, with a line above the e, and it means bravo.
