Hi anything with PL before or after 18 k or 9k is an indication that the item is gold plated with a thin layer of gold on top of a base metal or sometimes silver. Daniel
what does 18kt ch mean on a necklace
18k gold
The 0750 means the watch is 18K Gold>
it means gold plated
This means that the ring is matt gold electroplated. The 18k is the amount of gold that is found in the ring.
Bvlgari 18k silver necklace
I had the same thing stamped on my 10k gold necklace. I called a jeweller and they weren't very helpful but they told me it was most likely the brand name.
The ring is not actual solid 18K gold, it is only plated with 18K. The metal under the plating is not gold!
"18K" should be stamped on the inside of a ring band or near the clasp of a bracelet or necklace if it is 18 karat gold. No stamp may mean it is custume jewelry or the stamp may be worn off. A jeweler can authenticate a piece for you if you are unsure.
in all probably hct is a company ident .mark if hge (heavy gold electroplate) ge (gold electroplate) gf (gold filled) P (means plum gold or exactly 18k,14k,12k,10k,9k,)
its only 18k gold plated, not full gold This could be incorrect. If the ring has 18K/PLAT then the ring is 18K gold with some platinum. Probably to hold the diamond.
585 stamped on jewelry is 14k. 14 karat jewelry is 58.5 percent pure gold. So it can be stamped 14k or 585. 10k = 41.6% or 416 14k = 58.5% or 585 18k = 75% or 750 22k = 91.6% or 916
