"Provo Push" is more of a slang term used among BYU students and single Mormon youth and young adults.
Mormons believe that sexual activity before marriage is not acceptable, which leads many young Mormons with raging hormons to the "Provo Push" (essentially what is called 'grinding' or 'dry humping').
Church leadership has spoken out against this, telling the unmarried "do not participate in passionate kissing, lie on top of another person, or touch the private, sacred parts of another person's body, with or without clothing. Do not do anything else that arouses sexual feelings." But despite this explicit warning, the "Provo Push" remains a common problem among young Mormons because many rationalize it, claiming it is not "actually sex" so it doesn't count.
No, people here are very nice and never try to push their religion on you. In fact they kind of stay away from you unless you are a member of the church. That's what I have observed here but they are friendly and say hi and wave but that's it.

Be understanding. If you push it they will think badly of the religion. Also, if they don't like religion at all, try to avoid the topic. And above all, pray.
