RMN is the trademark of The Roman Company. You most likely have costume jewelry or a replica of gold or silver jewelry. It isn't real gold or silver but it is a good knock off.

Firstly, costume jewelry is not trying to be anything but what it is. Replica or knock off is a insult to the designers. Like Coco Chanel or Christian Dior for example. RMN signed is Roman. Vintage Costume Jewelry designer. Some costume jewelry is more valuable than if it were "real" gold or Sterling.
