All 1969 $100 bills have the same design. Franklin's portrait is in a small oval frame in the center of the bill's front side. The number 100 appears in each corner, and the edges are framed by ornate scrollwork. The back has the familiar portrait of Independence Hall, again framed by scrollwork. The bill's colors are green and black, very unlike modern bills with blue, green, and copper colors.
