It looks like your typical old style steel can but with a metal flange on it so that it can attach to the inside of the frame rail behind the drivers or passengers door can't remember which side but I do know the location. The manual tells you to bleed the pressure from the line prior to changing the filter as it is under 65 psi. I did not and was literally soaked in fuel after pulling off the line. You will also need new clamps for your line as conventional clamps can not withstand the 65 psi and will leak if you use them.

hi Ihave just done this job on my daughters 1993 dodge caravan. the first job is the fuel filter which is bolted to the passenger side of the frame below the drivers door on the inside of the frame one bolt two hoses. to replace the fuel pump you must remove the gas tank the pump goes in the top, it is an assembly with the fuel gauge .
