From the service manual:
P0161 2/2 O2 Sensor Heater Failure Oxygen sensor heater element malfunction.
"2/2" means the error refers to the downstream (of the catalytic converter) on the right side (from the driver's perspective).
That implies you must have a California model, with four O2 sensors (two upstream, and two downstream sensors). So, the catalytic converters referred to are the "mini" converters which are just small bulges in the downpipes that come down from the exhaust manifolds. The O2 sensors would be just downstream from those mini catalytic converters, but before the exhausts from the two sides of the engine join up and go to the big main catalytic converter. Per the Haynes, for Town & Country, P 0601 is an internal Powertrain Control Module fault. This relates to the numbers you provided, but may need to be verified as applicable to your model.
