What does a Nissan Xterra get on gas mileage?

I get 14 - 15 miles per gallon.

- This will really depend on a lot of factors. I used to average 19-20 when I first bought it, but now am averaging 17 - 18. Xterras are not the best interstate drivers for gas milage especially the pre-2005 models with the 3.3L V6. This engine tends to be underpowered for real fast driving thus making the engine work harder and suck more gas to keep up at 80. If you are willing to drive between 60 -65 these will get a lot better gas milage. If I go 65 I will get 20 mpg pretty easily, but on those days where I'm in a hurry.. which seems like more times than not and set the cruise on 80 I will get 15. I also switched my off road tires in for a lame light truck tire, but it gave me 2 mpg better on average and since most of my driving is on road these days it's a fair trade.

Expect to average around 18/19 for all xterras. I work at a Nissan Dealership and drive them quite frequently and always get around there. You will never get as good as the number on the window sticker unless you drive like my grandma.
