Replace the Accelerator Position Sensor. Located on the firewall.
P0715 = Input/Turbine Speed Sensor A Circuit Malfunction. P0731 = Gear 1 ratio incorrect. P0734 = Gear 4 ratio incorrect. Sounds to me someone installed a used transmission that didn't match the original.

My Chilton repair manual ( up to 1999 ) shows all 3 as a manual transmission fault , and DTC codes shows : P0732 gear 2 incorrect ratio / P0735 gear 5 incorrect ratio / P0775 Pressure Control Solenoid B Malfunction
The Washer pump is on the bottom of the reservoir - but you have to remove the front bumper to access it, so be sure it it sht pump and not the switch. It's a little tricky, but with trial and error you can see just about everything.
