There are several things that can cause your 1997 Nissan Pathfinder to stall. The most common cause is a lack of fuel caused by a malfunctioning fuel pump.
You can put Freon into your 1997 Nissan Pathfinder from the low pressure port. Connect the Freon bottle to the port. Release the Freon into the air conditioning system.
You should change your fuel filter every 90,000 to 100,000 miles.
you get 1 mile per mile. The Pathfinder cannot alter space and change the distance of a mile.
Only use what is specified in the user's manual. For manual, use Nissan Matic D; for automatic, use Nissan Automatic Transmission fluid. Dextron is also an okay choice per the manual.
Look in your owners manual. Here are a bunch. http://www.nissanextendedwarranty.com/owners-manual/nissan_owner_manuals.html
