You will need a T55 Torx bit to remove the front caliper of a 2001 Silverado 1500. A torx bit is a screw with a six point star shaped head. These come in different sizes.
T55. At least on my '91 Ranger....
It takes a T55 Torx bit on the front calipers.
No it is not. The bolt on the pulley is but the tensioner mounting bolt is a T55 torx bit head with the standard thread (right/tight left/loose).
T55, I just changed my brakes on 2003 Astro. If you've used another size as I did you may have burs in it. Tape it with hammer.
Probably Torx either T45 or T47 Allen TW 12B if its anything like the Luminas iv'e worked on previously it will be a T60 star bit but good luck most kits only go up to T55 your best bet would be to go to autozone or something and buy one seperately or atleats easier
Should be a T-40 Torx bit.
It uses a T45 Torx bit.
