The cent sign looks like a c with a line in it.Hope that helped!!!

Look at the "4" in the date: it can be either plain, i.e. consisting of 3 straight lines, or it can be a "crosslet" 4, with a small vertical stroke at the end of the horizontal bar. Looks like a one cent stamp, says one cent on it and yes you can still use them
