It is always a surprise as to what crossbred puppies will look like when the mature, as even puppies from the same litter can grow up to look very different from one another. However, by looking at the traits of both parents it is possible to roughly predict the puppies characteristics. Both Staffordshire Bull Terriers and Victorian Bulldogs are well muscled breeds, so this trait is sure to appear in the offspring. They also both have larger than average heads, so this may mean a caesarian section is needed in order to deliver the puppies if they too have large heads. Rose ears are again a characteristic of both breeds so the puppies are also likely to have them. Due to the Victorian Bulldogs protruding bottom jaw, the puppies are likely to be moderately undershot. Victorian Bulldogs stand at between 16 and 19 inches in height, whereas Staffords reach between 13 and 16 inches, so the puppies are likely to grow to a height of around 16 inches. Victorian Bulldogs can weigh between 55 and 75 pounds, and Staffords weigh between 23 and 38 pounds, so the puppies may weigh around 45 pounds when mature (depending on height). As for colour, Staffords and Victorian Bulldogs are most frequently seen in brindle or black with white, but the puppies colour will ultimately depend on the colouring of the parents.
