Almost all brown people are born with light complextions, the color of any offspring can be determined by the adult parent's coloring without a suntan. That being said, you now have a dark brown father and a light brown mother... the baby will most likely be anywhere between the shades of the two parents. There is a decent chance the baby can be lighter or darker, maybe a throwback to its grandparents. Are the parents of differing ethnicities? How did this question come about?
Genetics do not make a baby, they determine whether the baby will be more like the father or mother. Genetics can help determine traits like a baby having hair or eye colour like the mother.
There are several pages on the WWW that can help you to determine the probability of your unborn child eye colors. The color is dependent on your parents eye color as well. Try google something like: eye color determination
It depends on which genes are dominant and which are recessive according to Mendel's Law.
probably not, considering there going to have that dominant gene but if they have grandparents for relatives with dark brown hair it is possible. Its like when two brown eyed people have a blue eyes baby its happenedd.hope i helped :)
The characteristics of offspring are not determined by the parents' phenotypes, but by their genotypes. The genes for hair color that a parent caries are not immediately apparent by the parent's own hair color. Only genetic testing will reveal what inactive genes the parent may have. A parent with brown hair may have recessive genes for blond, black, or red hair, or maybe a total dominance of brown-hair genes. If both parents have homozygous brown hair, the offspring will have brown hair. It is more likely, however, that the code for brown hair is heterozygous, in which case the color of the offspring's hair is essentially impossible to determine without DNA testing.
light brown...Brown and white mixied together is the colour of vegitmite and butter makes it look like baby vomit
Mine light brown on it's back and white on it's stomach
Brown/hazel eyes and brown hair are dominant traits, this means that there are many possible gene combinations that could have led to the parents hair/eye colour. Resultantly it is very hard to have any idea what the baby will look like?
brown eyes (like poop) and probably brown hair (like poop again). And in some rare cases, you may get a blonde green eyed baby. Look at the grandparents, cause they also play a key role in this.
my parents had the sme hair colors and i ended up with a redish brown with natural higlights of blonde (no idea how) and red
the answer is brown
A light olive brown to moderate or light yellowish brown.
Chris Brown and Rihanna never had a baby together.
it depends whos genes are strongest! its all up to what race you are or what race your family is or was. I either of yall have Asian in yall then theres a a big chance that the babys gonna look like the parent that has the Asian family descendent
it is brown with light brown tummies
Baby your mother as (like) she babied you--back in your baby days. Maybe your mother is cryihg and blue.... sorry can't remember the rest of it!
Blue eyes are recessive to brown eyes. So if the mother is heterozygous for brown eyes then it is possible for the child to have blue eyes. However if the mother is homozygous for brown eyes than the child will have brown eyes. Since both parents are brunettes, the child will definitely have brown hair as well.
