The RED LIGHT WHETHER STEADY OR INTERMITTENTLY,WOULD BE SERVICE ENGINE.IT WOULD NEED TO BE PUT ON A COMPUTER DIAGNOSTIC TO CONFIRM IF YOU HAVE NO OTHER INDICATOR LIGHT(S) ON.

Where and how do you change the fuse for the dash bord lighting sytem in the 1993 190e 2.3l
Check that you have enough antifreeze in the overflow recovery unit there is a switch inside that lets you know the fluid is low -- the light should go out by it'self if the level is above the sensor
Its one of the two black knobs connected to the dashboard. i think its the one that resets the mileage. im pretty sure you have to push it in at twist to the right or left for on and off. hope that helps.
