A scientist formulates a hypothesis or an educated guess, then researches the hypothesis and designs a controlled experiment or a series of controlled experiments to test the hypothesis. Then on the basis of experimentation, the researcher formulates a conclusion or solution of the problem.
A problem statement is often defined, in the experimental procedure, as the problem that one tries to solve with the experiment. You must come up with a problem statement first, which is usually in the format of a question, and then design an experiment with which to go about solving your problem and to test your hypotheses, if you had any. It also has to do with science
it is a problem because an exercise is something that you do to get good practice with it, while a problem is more like a puzzle that you need to solve.
It helps us further understand and evaluate a scientific problem by providing 6 useful steps that we must follow or is recommended to follow to solve an experiment.
That is a debatable assertion. An experiment is performed to answer a question. If getting the answer to a question is a problem, then yes, experiments solve problems. But it is more likely that the actual problem (whatever it may be) will be solved using the information which is obtained experimentally. For example, the crops are not growing well. We experimentally grow plants under a hundred different circumstances - more nitrogen, more light, more water, less water, etc., and we discover that the plants do better with more magnesium. Now we can solve the crop problem by fertilizing with magnesium. So the experiment did not solve the problem but it did tell us how to solve the problem.
to solve the problem that they have if the problem doesn't solve they have to start over again.

it is a prediction at what you think will be the outcome of the experiment...

perdict, experiment, record data, discuss results. :)

Scientists use the scientific method, which is:
Some ways Scientists solve problems are that they follow the 7 steps of the scientific method which are problem, research, hypothesis, experiment, collect data ,conclusion, and repeat the process because that is how you experiment on objects. They can use this helpful tool to solve a problem.

To experiment or investigate in various techniques, materials, or sources in order to solve a problem or come to a new conclusion.
