looks like a normal sensor, I have a 2002 intrigue, it is located just above the starter, you have to take out the starter in order to take it out.
JUST HAD A LOOK IN MY VAUXHALL VECTRA.C MANUAL.NO SENSOR ON THE CRANKSHAFT..
if it has a v6 it's behind crankshaft pulley,if its a 4 cyl.in the block
should be right around the crankshaft. Look for a plug into something around the crankshaft.
looks similar to the camshaft sensor, but it's located in the bell housing on the transmission on passenger side.

Look at the crankshaft pulley, it is right there.
Crankshaft sensor on Honda/Isuzu 3.2l V6 is located on the lower passenger side engine block . If you look through the wheel well at the block just behind the motor mount you will see the wiring harness plug going in.
Look by the balancer.
you need to look at the parts and shut up
Look behind the driver wheel at the cranckshaft pulley. There will be a sensor there. It is the pulley with the teeth.
Look on the timing cover.
