In my own view, I think they are similar in relating to people, particularly, in communication. In such a way, they can reach out, although differently, to people whom they are subject to interact with. Like for the nurses and doctors, their role as health care providers gives them an opportunity to interact with people as to their health status. They can advice proper treatments and ways of a healthy lifestyle.
As for teachers and clerks, they are also subject to communicating different kinds of people. In a classroom, a teacher's role is to give proper education to students wherein students, in return, gain concrete background in education and are candidates of having brighter future through the effort of the teachers. Clerks also provide efficient service to customers who are asking for some specific information.
Another thing, they are also similar in ways like keeping records or files to every individual they come in contact with.
