Why support pet shops? Usually, they get their supply of animals from puppy mills. Don't know what a puppy mill is? It's HELL on earth for animals. There are hundreds of rescue groups in every state that specialize in rescuing just about every breed of dog you can think of, including maltipoos! You can find GORGEOUS, SWEET dogs who are just as trainable as any puppy (most come already potty trained, like my rescue maltipoo, Kelli (see her picture below). I adopted her from a rescue group in Florida called Destiny For Dogs that I came across on 'Petfinder'.
Please save a life. Adopt a rescue/shelter pet.
