Although your hamster won't eat meat,(not insects though) it will eat most other things. It may devour plastic, paper, cardbourd, rinestones, clothing and other material, even those not for eating I'm afraid. My hamster will eat anything he finds the right size to nibble.Plastic, paper, wood, and cardbourd are often just chewed for teeth, rodents chew on everything they can.But they will eat many other things. My hamsters have eaten paper or a rinestone from my shirt, but that won't do much harm to them. They'll poo it out.But if they eat a lot call a vet.Lots of them may do harm. So,hamsters will not eat only meat.
Hamster eat seeds ,because their front tooth are like a rodent , so it make them helps to nibble the seeds faster:p
