The pancreas is a cone-shaped spongy organ about twelve inches long that is right behind the stomach and is attached to the first part of the small intestine; the duodenum. There is a small opening where it attaches that is controlled by a sphincter called the sphincter of Oddi that allows the digestive enzymes from the pancreas to enter the duodenum.
The pancreas plays a large role in digestion because it is the only digestive system organ that produces and secretes digestive enzymes for digesting all three types of food products; proteins, carbohydrates, and fats.
The pancreas is a soft pink, traingular gland
The pancreas of both the frog and the human produces a variety of digestive enzymes as well as hormones. However, the insulin produced by the frog is noticeably dissimilar from that produced by humans, so you can't use frog insulin for humans.

The pancreas in the cow has the same function as that in the human.
The pancreas is located in the center of your upper abdomen. It has close relations to your stomach and a part of the small intestines called the duodenum, where the pancreatic duct meets the gastrointestinal tract. The pancreas is ~15-20 cm long, and about 4-5 cm wide. It is generally described as having a head (caput pancreas), a neck (collum pancreas), a body (corpus pancreas) and a "tail" (cauda pancreas). The color is yellow-brownish. The consistency is not firm, but instead rather soft. For real look of it, i suggest googling for a picture. The organ itself serves both endocrine and exocrine functions. The exocrine functions involve important partaking in digestion of food. The endocrine is also very important, of which you might know of its production of insulin.
They look like ovals.
The pancreas look like a creamy-white elongated flap located between the small intestine
Exocrine tissue belongs in the pancreas of a human body. It actually makes up 99 percent of the weight of the human pancreas.
