What does a leopard signify in the Bible?

We have the luxury today of looking back on some of the prophecies in The Bible [some of which are still to be fulfilled ahead of us], which were written centuries before they came to pass. The Bible interprets the "leopard" for us in Daniel's 7th chapter:

"...I beheld, and lo another, like a LEOPARD, which had upon the back of it four wings of a fowl; the BEAST also had four heads; and dominion was given to it..." (Dan.7:6).

Daniel's "vision" entailed FOUR SUCCESSIVE BEASTS: 1) a LION, 2) a BEAR, 3) a LEOPARD, and 4) a DREADFUL, TERRIBLE, DEVOURING CREATURE that defies the description of any beast in God's creation! Certainly, it taxed Daniel's ability to describe it. Daniel lived in the time of the LION [the Babylonian Empire]... and toward the beginning of the BEAR [the Persian Empire]... but died before the advent of the LEOPARD [the Grecian Empire].

Yet, they are all interpreted and explained in the Bible:

"...So he told me, and MADE ME KNOW THE INTERPRETATION OF THE THINGS. These great Beasts, WHICH ARE FOUR, ARE FOUR KINGS, WHICH SHALL RISE OUT OF THE EARTH." (verses 16-17)

Understand what kings are: kings are RULERS OF GOVERNMENTS OF MEN ON THE EARTH! The requirements of any government, whether it's God's coming Kingdom or governments of men... kings, presidents, premiere, chancellors or whatever; is that any government requires a RULER; it requires PEOPLE to rule over; it requires TERRITORY to rule over; and it requires LAWS whereby harmony and order may be maintained.

The "luxury" we have today in our generation, is in our ability to "look back" in world history and point to each of these BEASTS [world-ruling governments of men] about which Daniel received God's interpretation.

And a "blessing" that those who "believe" these interpretations have, is in the knowledge that Daniel's dream [vision] is in regard to the GOSPEL [Good News; the message] of Jesus Christ: THE COMING GOVERNMENT OF GOD [see Mark 1:14-15] that shall destroy this perverse, destructive world ruling four beast combination; as the next verses attest:

"But the saints of the Most High SHALL TAKE THE KINGDOM [of God], and POSSESS THE KINGDOM FOR EVER, even FOR EVER AND EVER... i beheld [the vision], and the same horn made war with the saints [the coming Great Tribulation just ahead of us in our generation], and prevailed against them; until the ANCIENT OF DAYS [the returning Jesus Christ] CAME, and Judgment was given to the saints of the Most High..." (verses 18-22)

"DO YE NOT KNOW THAT THE SAINTS SHALL JUDGE THE WORLD?And if the world shall be Judged BY YOU, are ye unworthy to Judge the smallest matters?" (I Cor.6:2)

"...and THE TIME CAME [still just ahead of us today] THAT THE SAINTS POSSESSED THE KINGDOM." (verse 22)

"When the Son of Man shall come IN ALL HIS GLORY, and all His Holy Angels WITH HIM, THEN SHALL HE SIT UPON THE THRONE OF HIS GLORY... Then shall the King [Jesus Christ, the Ancient of Days] say unto them on His right hand, 'COME, YE BLESSED OF MY FATHER, INHERIT THE KINGDOM PREPARED FOR YOU FROM THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD.'" (Matt.25:31-34)

Daniel's vision of the Gospel of Jesus Christ [the Good News of the coming Kingdom of God] was preached anciently to the KING OF BABYLON [see Daniel's chapter 2, where Daniel's 7th chapter BEASTS were envisioned by King Nebuchadnezzar as a colossal METALLIC MAN]... and the world remains utterly ignorant of the fact to this day.

Little known to this Satan-deceived world, today, is that the Bible is all about GOVERNMENT! World-ruling governments. Both of the twisted, perverse, deceived, Satan-owned [see Luke 4: 5-6] governments of man throughout the history of the world; and of the soon-coming GOVERNMENT OF GOD [which practically NO ONE BELIEVES... or otherwise even knows is coming, because the religions of the world don't know what the Bible says]. Even ENOCH who lived in the pre-flood world preached the Good News of the coming Kingdom of God to his perverse, unbelieving generation:

"...'Behold, THE LORD COMETH WITH TEN THOUSANDS OF HIS SAINTS, to EXECUTE JUDGMENT UPON ALL, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed...'" (Jude 1:14-15).

And so it is that the LEOPARD is but one part of the confused governments of men that have held sway over the world to this day. The LEOPARD, historically and prophetically, represents the THIRD Satan-designed world ruling government system of men: the Greco-Macedonian Empire of Alexander the great, that quickly established itself in the world, and was quickly divided among Alexander's four generals upon his sudden death.

Greece gave to the world what it regards as "culture." It gave the world its colleges and education. And Satan took the opportunity through its philosophers to put down in writing his false doctrine of the "immortality of the soul." Read the convoluted writings of Plato, Socrates and Aristotle... if you can get through it... on their un-biblical ravings about the "immortal soul" trapped within humans.

The customs, traditions and religious beliefs have morphed and were adopted and adapted by each world-ruling system as their time came and went. And Bible prophecy reveals that in these last days, the customs, traditions and traits of the FOUR BEASTS OF DANIEL: Babylon [LION], Persia [BEAR], Greece [LEOPARD] and Rome [AN INDESCRIBABLE DREADFUL, DEVOURING BEAST]... STILL MAKE UP THE PRESENT WORLD RULING SYSTEM:

"...'I [John]... saw a BEAST rise up out of the sea [of humanity -- see Rev.17:15]... And the Beast which I saw was like unto a LEOPARD, and his feet were as the feet of a BEAR, and his mouth as the mouth of a LION: and THE DRAGON [SATAN, himself - see Rev.12:9] GAVE HIM HIS POWER, and his SEAT, and GREAT AUTHORITY [see again Luke 4:5-6]..." (Rev.13:1-2).

The Grecian Empire [the LEOPARD of Bible prophecy] represents the "intellectual bent" of modern government. The Leopard has given this world its educational system [public schools], vain philosophical thought... and is at the root of this world's universities and higher education.

The "beastly governments" of [Satan-guided] man, devoid of the benevolent Laws and Love of God, shall bring the world to its utter destruction... if God were not to step in at the Last Day to stop it:

"I AM the LORD your God, who rescued you from your slavery in Egypt [salvation from Satan and sin]... But when you have eaten and were satisfied, then you became proud and for:got Me. So now I will attack you like a LION, or like a LEOPARD that lurks along the road. I will rip you to pieces like a BEAR whose cubs have been taken away... YOU ARE ABOUT TO BE DESTROYED, O Israel, though I AM your Helper. Where now is your king? ...Where are all THE LEADERS OF THE LAND? You asked for them, NOW LET THEM SAVE YOU!" (Hosea 13:4-10 NLT New Living Translation)

God is talking about NATIONS here! He's talking about GOVERNMENT here! NOT RELIGION!

"...'that will be a time of GREATER HORROR than anything the world has ever seen or will ever see again. In fact, unless that TIME OF CALAMITY [that's about to come upon us all] IS SHORTENED, the ENTIRE HUMAN RACE WILL BE DESTROYED. But it will be shortened for the sake of God's Chosen Ones... I HAVE WARNED YOU..." (Matt.24:21-25 NLT).

"...THE GOVERNMENT will rest ON HIS SHOULDERS... His ever-expanding, Peaceful GOVERNMENT WILL NEVER END. He will Rule FOREVER with Fairness and Justice from the throne of His ancestor David. THE PASSIONATE COMMITMENT OF THE LORD ALMIGHTY WILL GUARANTEE THIS!" (Isa.9:6-7)

The Leopard of Bible prophecy signifies the advent of Satan's misguided "knowledge," "wisdom," and "understanding" in government. The false wisdom of carnal mindedness that's leading this world's governments and the world to destruction.
