"There are at a high school lexile score! so basically... it's great!" Well, I'm not sure about that(I'm in 6th grade and my Lexile is 1540), but it's above average for sure, so good job! :)
If you visit www.lexile.com, you will find a calculator and a very good explanation of what "lexile" scores mean. My child actually made the mistake of calling it "lextile" also.
If your Lexile score is 1230 that means you are reading at a college grade level. In sixth grade I took it and got a 1250. :) I'm in eighth grade now, and I have a score of 1350. I've never really read much, but you should be considered lucky because i've seen many eighth graders with scores lower than that.
Depends on the test. Not enough info to answer.
The average Lexile score for 6th graders is typically around 925-1050. This score represents the reading level needed to comprehend texts commonly assigned in 6th grade. Keep in mind that individual students may vary in their reading abilities.

If the Z Score of a test is equal to zero then the raw score of the test is equal to the mean. Z Score = (Raw Score - Mean Score) / Standard Deviation
Yes.z = (raw score - mean)/standard error.Since the standard error is positive, z < 0 => (raw score - mean) < 0 => raw score < mean.
my meld score is 16. what does that mean?
