There are many types of Recycling Plants all over the USA and the world. While the answer could be quite lengthy. A simple one would be "just about every man-made material". But the most common products recycled are made from plastics, paper and metals. Each type of plastics, paper and metal is separated and recycled with its own type in order to be reused once again. Lastly, residential recycling deals in mostly goods we use in our homes which will include glass products as well. Industrial recycling deals with large products or large amounts of it, such as automobiles and appliances. ALL man-made products are NOT recycled because it gets prohibitively expensive and cheaper to make with virgin materials as new.
Take i to your local recycling plant or put it an a recycling bin at a store or something.

As long as the cup has been washed well, it should be recyclable. Most plastic food containers are 1 or 2, so your local recycling plant should be able to recycle them.
