To become a registered dietitian (RD), one must typically earn a bachelor's degree in dietetics, nutrition, or a related field from an accredited program. After completing the internship, candidates must pass the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) exam to obtain their RD credential. Additionally, many states require licensure or certification to practice.
